Hye-sung is finally being open to his feelings a little bit with the help of beer but atleast for once he was completely honest about his marriage, byul and how sad and frustrated he was when he got mad to byul. Hoping for more charcter development to hye-sung.
When he said "Byul, please dont be like me" it clearly says his true intention when he got mad. He just don't want Byul to be in the same path he used to cause he knows what it felt like to walk there. Hye-sung is not a bullshit character for yelling at Byul, it's actually realistic because when we were younger our parents also did the same thing, getting mad at us because they just want the best for us even though sometimes their words are kinda hurtful and we cry & get upset like Byul.

I really think the reason why hyesung acted that way is because he is afraid that Byul might grow up like him. That's why he felt frustrated knowing that Byul is dominant yet couldn't learn fast like other kids. Also let's not forget the fact that Hye-sung grew up in a strict and unloving family where he did his best yet in his dad's eyes he is still useless.
What do you think?

AGREED!! he’s probably just really stressed out about everything and he wants whats best for byul since his growing up was rather difficult and he wants his child to have a good life,, alot of people hating on hyesung cause he yelled at byul is ngl a lil ridiculous lol,, parents get worried when they see their child a developing slower but every child develops differently,, theres no reason to hate hyesung cause of this.

I agree with you so much, I can't really understand why people are still disliking him at this point because I can see him trying his best tbh. He just ain't good at expressing what he thinks and eventually acted the way he did. I also agree that he was brought up in that kind of family, what is taught to him will be most likely the way he teach his kid. And this is an Asian culture, people there are not as open minded as those in the westerns, he is scared of being judge and he would be judge for the whole school duration there. So I think it is pretty normal to be scared.

I just want to defend hye-sung though I didn't want his attitude from the start but i came to understand it (after his flashback chapter) since he have a rough childhood and I just can't stand it when readers are getting fueled over his shitty attitude. I mean it's shitty but believe me, Hye-sung is soft but needs to act tough like a 'tsundere or kuudere'

Well whatever u say is right but ain't it time he thought more about his partner than himself. He did the same thing his mother did to him to his own child. Maybe Hyesung is insecure but the fact is that dojin and byul don't deserve to be treated like that. Ik u feel bad for him. But he ain't a baby. U need to stop babying ukes. I don't think Hyesung is bad but he definitely needs to grow up.

Parents of children with learining issues get stressed often and yes they can take it out on their kids and even their family. This is actually very realistic this part of the story so it does not sugar coat the way often parents will get so stressed they will scream at their children. This does not make it horrible it just makes him out to be what is realistic.

I think it's not just insecurity, i think it is inferiority complex. The fact that he did the same thing to byul added more anxiety to himself. Remeber that he wasn't ready to any of this, 'to be an omega', 'to be a mother', 'to be a husband'. He is still coping to everything that has happening to him that's why he still having a hard time to deal with everything. Unlike Dojin, he was ready for it. And tbh, hye-sung has a strong character to actually take responsibility of everything and continue eagerly his education was a bold step.
Well, idk let's wait for the following chapters..
(=・ω・=)
Erin running away from the ducal palace is much more realistic than staying because a person searched for her for years. Honestly, if I were suddenly brought in a situation where a person I don't know talked about being married to me in the past/future, dedicating the market to me will be overwhelming and also weird/scary. I get that most readers pity the Duke for waiting her for years but let's not forget that ONLY the Duke has memories of the past and Erin only knew the Duke in her childhood memory. If the Duke has the same situation as Erin, he will not have the same wealth and success he has right now nor even have a desperation to find Erin.
Anywayss thank you so much for the translation
