i think he has shown love in his own way. look at the environment they are in. From the beginning i was under the impression that they both knew they were using each other. She knew all she had was her title and no real power or presence, and he had power, presence, and no title. She has shown her dark side too. no one agrees with his methods, but it worked. You never see him once raise his hand or put her down. he saved her life too.
Although that may be true, it can also be interpreted as feelings towards an ally. He and she are both using eachother and he did encourage his father to speed up the marriage not due to romantic reasons. There is also the fact that he seems to try and tell her what to do and gets upset when she doesn’t listen, supporting the fact that he wants the marriage for greater power that her
