To where I stopped reading (C114) there was no mention of memories being remembered... It was just a mess because MC's system turns out to be working under the Demon Lord or something of the sort. I had to read my summary recap in review lol.. The Demon Lord has a resemblance to the MLs if I remember correctly... so the system and this demon lord has been messing up with MC's mission so that they could affect the Heavenly Monarch's....I guess Cultivation / weakening him? I don't know if it improves, but it did seen the story move up a tiny little.
Will mc caught the cat trying to mess up his missions, and then the cat try to apologize bc the demon was threatening him which why he did it. To make up for it, the cat try to help mc again and explain that if he complete the mission then he will be able to help the emperor, if he fail the emperor dissappear. The emperor soul is basically ml, and mc mission is to retire all of them.
During the story was progressing, ml didn't remember about the past arc story, but he did see a glimpse of mc talking to the emperor that he have to finish his mission bc of his punishment so ml decide to help mc and that how they complete the last mission.
After completing the mission, the rewards was showing mc past and the emperor relationship. So basically mc got his memory back about what happened, and why this or that happened and why mc have to do be the one who do it and why he is the important key.
I low key thought that mc save ml and got his memory back and that was the end of it, but nope. Mc was only able to help ml a little, he need to retire more of ml soul, so he got put back into doing more story. But this time, mc is by himself without his cat, and only got little information about how the story supposed to go. So mc is all by myself plus the emperor friends assistant.
The emperor is ml I think by how they show mc past. And mc is already reborn like 2 time, so I think this is the 3rd. And yes, ml does love mc and mc does love ml so he was willingto help fine ml soul.
And I don't think the story arc mc was put on get any better.

It has a good plot and it's quite interesting tbh. Plus the family love environment, not only that even those that aren't direct descendants are so close to the family.. It's just so nice to see after reading too much betrayal shit, toxic rivalries with characters doing bad things because of inferiority complex.. While reading this my mind kept on thinking oh is this person a future traitor but nope they're so tight like wth.
The art is not that great but the story kept me reading. Plus MC is a real child through and through. Not Reincarnated or Regressed just a GENIUS.

So MC will have a baby and they're planning to take it away from them... Just a guess........... Cuz I question the point of MC being sent there... He wasn't told to poison anyone or spy..
