The female characters do get stronger and have held their own in battle. However, MC does still finish off the enemy, come in at the end, or support the others in the battle.
In addition, some of the female cast find out about a piece of the MC's future and his incurable condition so they set off on their own journey to reverse fate while also misunderstanding what they learned about the MC.
He first chapter is so good and funny. I love that she's a fanfic author and that she's fighting the male lead ove who has the better HORSE

Some countries like Japan are strict when it comes to quit your job because you have to be loyal to your company. Plus, quitting would mean it'd be a nuisance for your coworkers (more work for them or just disruption of the "team harmony" which is taken seriously there). I guess Korea, where the story is taking place, is one of these countries, which explain why they have to keep it a secret. It's way more chill in a lot of western countries though where there's no (or at least less) sense of loyalty towards the company, and thus it's easier to quit.
