The development is kind of slow and it feels slower with new content being constantly added, we already had: finding out more about devildom, her actually making an effort to learn of the world she's in instead of fretting on her own, the existence of her childhood friend, her social and mental growth, deciding her relationship with Yan and now we have: Yan and her friends relations to his death, her actually being an article witch, Yan's materialization, her connection to the Demon world. In addition to the details and backstories of the supporting characters.
And yet she is still a damsel in distress. So much in very few chapters
