The girl seems to be his daughter or the daughter of his close friend that's why the swordmaster sent her to him. But the impression of her is rather annoying, even with her deep dark back story and connection to him doesn't make up for her lack of charisma and reason for being so unsociable. At least she's not a complete damsel in distress but I wish the guy woon Hyun was following him around instead he has more charisma tbh
