The way they play in to the dangerous black perosn stereotype or thinking stereotypically on how we live in Africa idk maybe not racist but a little micro aggressive
I thought so too but at the same time it's a japanese manga so maybe they didn't do their research about how the culture difference seem like but it's cute overall and luca was so sweet and beautiful I hope u don't feel bad or offended

No I’m not offended I just chopped it up as ignorance on the topic however it was still cute to me

No I definitely agree I actually had to put my phone down during the basketball game in ch3 and contemplate life while looking out the window, the story is cute but there’s definitely little racist elements that pile onto one another. (It doesn’t seem mean-spirited but it definitely relies heavily upon stereotypes and a sort of “othering” of Luca in a way that harkens to “race science”)
As a black person myself, I didn't find it racist. I actually think the writer did their research on maasai for this story. Except for the dreads slowly disappearing, which I still found funny, i didn't see anything wrong with it.

I mean yeah everyone has there opinions but I definitely felt like some of the assumptions about him came as micro aggressive

You can be micro agressive without realizing it even with research that tends to happen with culture gap it doesn’t make the author inherently racist just a little more research could’ve been done imo

I like this one I’m a fan of the dynamic that each relationship has and the problems they have or may have in the future and they’re ALLLL freaked out EVERY last one of them
All of yall stfu comments pmo he could lock the tip of his dick to stay loyal enough and yall are gone be like “WHERES HIS CHASITY BELT AND THE SECONd lock” act like her pussy is yall pussy I could never be bothered to read a story I dislike as much as yall seem to hate this one
No seriously, like why are they making me defend a man Sayo2594
They don’t even know what they want “he’s playing her” now that he said he wants to date her “he’s a slut he’s probably gonna cheat” and that’s the thing ab what ifs they go on and on and on,
The comments are so annoying you can tell which women have been hurt and are projecting on the manga and the ones of are just reading bc they like the manga this book is simple asf it shouldn’t even have this much discourse imo
I’m at a loss for words but that definitely what he gets you wanted to fuck sum so baddd now look at u done been turnt every way (and I do mean EVERY) way but loose
It’s cute feel a lil racist as a black person but it was cute ig
