so from what i understand they MET at the resort(?) so that part was like a flashback. cuz when he said something like “i guess he’ll do” it seemed like they weren’t familiar yet. and they met as drinking buddies. also homeboy was about to shoot but they left the gun at the dock. symbolic for leaving baggage and moving forward(?) anyway it seems like they were chilling, happy, and just being nostalgic in the end. feel free to correct me lol cuz i was also kind of confused. tbh i like their dynamic. it was an interesting read.
