i know, i'm just sick and tired of stories involving yakuza and someone being the heir to yakuza etc etc. there's no real happy ending

honestly the story to me was very relatable and realistic to young love and dating. it's awkward, complex, and weird. i saw and experienced these odd quirks of "liking someone" at young so it felt like i was reliving the past through the characters. i felt pretty sorry for Ayumi, I don't think she did anything wrong, she did her best. the main MC was clumsy and awkward and this is all part of growing up. I'm glad they accepted each other in the end it was really cute.
