THEYRE already friends. It was earlier in the chapters when the younger brother was trying on some clothes and he put on some dresses, it was Chizu’s old clothes!! Chizu’s dad was there to give them Chizu’s old clothes bc they were asking around for clothes for the younger brother.

And way before that, too, when Akito brought the kids to Tenchou's restaurant to eat, Tenchou told Akito not to burden Kina too much. It means that Akito, Kina, Tenchou, and Yosshi were schoolmates at one time (different years, but schoolmates nonetheless). And from how the school dean reacted when he saw Kina again (when she went to the school for Touma), something happened back then. I am really curious about that...! It might be the reason why Kina and Akito haven't married and why Nobu/Tenchou thinks that Akito is troubling Kina.
