ok so what I'm understanding is that brown haired lady can see the future and mc over here only knows ab the novel and is thinking that the story is the same even though clearly it's changed. The Duke is a black mage who hypnotizes people and lives on magic to survive but the mc doesn't know this because she hasn't been trying to hang out with the duke because she thinks he's going to kill her. And the MC's husband is just a side character ig? Might drop this because it's so confusing. Tell me if I got anything wrong ^^
It's pretty different, actually. The brown haired lady can see the future ish, but it's more likely she can see future possibilities, nothing set in stone. But she's been accurate enough to this point that she relies heavily on it, not recognizing the flaw. The MC is aware that the novel has changed significantly, but all she really has is the information she's got, so that's what she's forced to work with. She knows the duke has black magic but because she never finished the book series she's in, she doesn't know the full extent of his backstory or powers. She actually became close to him because she misremembered and mistook the villain for the ml. When she found out, she backed off pdq. By that point the duke is in love with her and she's convinced he hates her because he treats her so poorly. She gets and engagement of convenience with the original ml to try to shake the duke who's been hounding her now. The B story is basically the original ml had been in love with brown hair girl, but he was wearing a disguise when they met she doesn't recognize him and he was shown her "grave" so he's convinced it's not the same woman. So basically duke loves mc, but mc thinks he just likes using her. The fiance is in love with brown haired girl and it's mutual, but there's stupid misunderstandings stopping it.
