Even though he wielded power over the dead and immense strength because of that, it came with a price, including some of his sanity and emotional health, which was what drove him to his demise. tbh him just seeing the people hes hurt in the past in xuanyu's body pains me because I know he has an incredible amount of guilt even though hes all jokes and smiles on the outside.
also I think ive commented multiple times that im not a big fan of the romance but that kiss on the forehead was a pretty satisfactory wrap-up, but ayo Tess b thinking abt children already (づ￣ ³￣)づ
she is a young girl so ig its pretty normal
