Well novel is one thing, comic is the other. So it IS annoying seeing people complaining about what we comic readers are not having, like go read your favorite novel again idk nobody stops you
But why would you let yourself be this petty? Dont you think thats a better thing to ponder upon? Also im not a novel reader but its not that hard for me to understand and empathize with them. Also knowing that the story had gone so much astray is a good thing too. At least we know the real deal that we should've gotten.

The complaints are valid. I only read the manhwa and thought it was fine until there was a mention about the kidnapping scenes and so I wanted to read ahead and read it in the novel.
Now that the manhwa has gotten to the part, it’s SUPER disappointing because this is literally the MOST IMPORTANT conflict as it’s literally right before the ending. The ending is coming soon, so can you imagine how they displayed such a weak conflict right before it? The way Edith is treated is also super important in building up her feelings to complete the final condition.
Edith is supposed to be feeling hopeless and almost lifeless. It would be complete bullshit for her to be all clean and happy, thus her not getting the final condition in the story.
