I get that many would find this story boring, cliche, fast paced and all that. But you know what, I like it. Though it seemed to zoom through and I find myself skimming some parts of it... the thing is, it's not a bad read. This was a good segue from my usual red flag reads. Like soooooo many red flag reads. And reading this was a breath of fresh air. The ML is such a green flag, even during their intense sex scenes. Themes of consent chef's kiss. That is so rare to find. And I like the MC's character development, though they could have explored on it more, but I shan't complain. It's better that Stockholm Syndrome most MCs develop in my red flag reads. Overall this was a solid 4 out of 5.
