Yes his ex is being a hypocrite but I cannot blame him for moving on. It’s been FIVE years, he didn’t even know where the mc was and he actually tried to find him in ways possible but no luck. Many people would believe their own lover was dead if there was no information about them after a decade. Him punching the mc was a bit too much too. However, the ex’s current lover doesn’t sit right with me, he wishes that the mc died and during when the ex was going through stuff, he chose that chance to steal him at his weakest. Its absolutely understandable that he’s jealous but it’s obvious he’s very possessive for ones liking.

I totally get it... like I think it’s understandable that he moved on after 5 years, but the way he treated his ex after he found out that he’d been in a coma was unacceptable. The MC woke up with 5 years missing in his life, to find that his world has totally changed and the man he loved was with another, I would want to fight for it and in the end want closure and it seems that the Possessive new lover is refusing to let the ex give that to the MC. I understand being frightened that the MC might come in between the relationship but if you love your partner you would want them to have a fresh start and to bring things to a peaceful close, the ex needed that closure as well... and well the new lover seems to be a bit of a stalker, calling all the time and wondering were the ‘ex’ / his lover is... it just screams red flags to me.
Anyway I just think that it’s understandable but I feel that they should have given the MC more Closure.
