It’s a fantasy manga… does it really matter how realistic they act as long as it’s interesting?? sure she’s 12 but she’s lived 13 lives ofc she’s gonna be more mature for a kid… and she’s finally getting love and feeling safe to act like the kid she is/never got to be, which is also fine, just enjoy the story:3

You can count like she has 27 or 28 years ( 1rst life 12 or 13 years then 13 × 1 years + 2 years for 15th life). 1rst life was misery then when she arrived in the temple bad treatment once Ravienne had her on her hand torture then death. You can even say she was brainwashed by Ravienne. It's even great she was able to resist in her 15th life ( last life)...
It’s a FANTASY manga are you guys forgetting that? And especially the people who haven’t caught up to the manga yet and only read a few chapters, who are you to speak on the writing? There is obviously background information we don’t know yet, that’s a main point of interest. By the end of the manga i’m sure it’ll all play out and make sense, so far that’s what’s happening albeit slowly. There’s not a lot of romance at all even I, who doesn’t like romance in action manga aren’t bothered so… Plus as a person who’s read at least 50 of these generic tropes, it’s much less annoying and has differences from the others that stand out so I was able to catch up without being bored. However if you don’t like reading the same (but slightly different) stories over and over again like me yes, there are better stories to read go look for those but this doesn’t deserve the hate some comments are giving lol!
