what happened to the notes/diary left by the dead friend? it should have been checked by MC when he kinda suspected and connected lines of wujin related to the friends death, yet he didnt bother with it at all which is such a really big plot hole
Haewon put that diary in a box and never touched it again. At the end of volume 1, Wujin finds it while cleaning Haewon’s apartment. There, he reads what Taeshin wrote—things like, "Haewon, if you ever meet him, run." But Wujin goes up to the rooftop and burns the diary before Haewon can see it, for two reasons: 1. To erase the evidence. 2. To make sure Haewon doesn’t run away from him. This also hits a sensitive spot for him—the fact that people see him as a monster.

So, I think you know what happened with Taeshin. Since Wujin was young, he had a place, below his ex-fiancée's house, where he held parties with drugs, orgies, and other crimes. He recorded all of this to use as evidence in the future as a prosecutor. When Taeshin got romantically involved with him, Wujin only saw him as someone who was the son of a big businessman and wanted to gather some dirt on him. Then, Taeshin was taken to the bunker, and there he was raped by Wujin’s friends. Wujin didn’t do anything because he thought that since Taeshin "opened his legs for everyone" (as he told Haewon), he must have "liked it." Wujin couldn't understand other people’s suffering—like I said, he doesn’t process emotions well and is a psychopath. So, Taeshin wrote all of this in a diary and sent it to Haewon.

do you think at this point Woojin is in love with Haewon or is he just obsessed with him like the other guys ? Also the “cleaning Haewon apartment” chapter, is it soon in the manhwa or do we have to wait a lot longer for that scene to get adapted?

Alright, first, the cleaning of Haewon's apartment has nothing to do with Wujin. Well, kinda of. Someone else ordered the cleaning, but Haewon blames Wujin for it, which really upsets him. But it wasn’t actually him.
Second thing—at first, Wujin is more interested in Haewon’s behavior. He finds him intriguing and likes messing with him. Over time, though, he gets totally obsessed, to the point of going crazy. By the end of the second novel, Haewon basically turns Wujin’s life into a living hell, and at that point, Wujin seems to love him. It’s complicated. They even have this whole “how much do you love me today” thing with stars, since Wujin isn’t great at expressing emotions.
He ends up losing everything because of Haewon and gets locked up for a year. After he gets out, a bunch of other stuff happens, but in the end, they get back together and even end up getting married.
Yeah, I think it’s gonna take a while to happen. We’re probably only on chapter 4 of volume 1.

if you dont mind, can you explain to me how does Haewon turns Woojin’s life a living hell and also why does seme lose everything because of Haewon ? Did he try to abuse his connections/power to make Haewon stay with him and ends up losing those connections ? From what i read in the last translated chapter et the raw, his ex-mother-in-law was quite upset with him because he set the violinist behind bars and it wasn’t good the their reputation or something like that…

Up until chapter 15 of the novel, Wujin basically controls Haewon’s entire life. He lies about things that might seem small to others but mean a lot to Haewon. Like, he invites Haewon to live with him in his ex-fiancée’s house, hires a cop to follow him 24/7 and report everything he does, and even says he’s going to recitals when he actually never shows up. But to Wujin, none of this felt like a big deal because he was too focused on achieving his goal as a prosecutor.
When Haewon finds out about all the lies and manipulation, he gets really upset. And when he learns about Taeshin, he starts freaking out, scared that Wujin might actually kill him or do something crazy. To get back at Wujin, Haewon starts hurting himself a lot. During this time, he also ends up in two situations where he’s almost assaulted—but both times, Wujin completely loses it and goes after the guys who tried it.
Once Wujin realizes what Haewon is trying to do, he decides to hand over some important evidence that could take down some powerful people, but his own name is in the mix, so he ends up getting arrested too. About his ex-mother-in-law, she becomes close to Haewon and plays a big role in the story. But Wujin doesn’t really care about anyone except Haewon—his only goal for the longest time is to destroy his ex-father-in-law.

Why does he want to destroy his ex-FIL? What happened to his ex fiance, did he ever love her? Why does he start to bother Haewon in the first place, when he didn't even know him? And what exactly does Woojin think of Haewon?

Why does he want to destroy his ex-FIL?
Well, this one is simple. He is driven by rationality, so when his ex-father-in-law becomes "corrupt," he finds it irrational and decides he will remove him from power and put the companies in good hands, in more rational hands.
What happened to his ex-fiancee, did he ever love her?
She gets into a car accident after drinking and fighting with Woojin, becomes deformed and partially paralyzed. Unable to accept this fate, she commits suicide at the age of 29. No, he never loved her.
Why does he start to bother Haewon in the first place, when he didn't even know him?
Because Haewon was connected to Taeshin, and he feared Haewon might give the notebook with evidence about the bunker to the police. But in the extra chapter, we see that when they were younger, they had a brief encounter, and Woojin already found Haewon attractive.
And what exactly does Woojin think of Haewon?
Well, by the end of the novel, he loves him, and they are married.
Last question - if he is so driven by rationality and being anti corrupt, why is he so afraid of the diary and Taeshin's testimony coming to light when he was involved in the first place?
