It's maybe only been a few weeks since the police officer beat up Sangwoo, at most. Already a lot has happened in terms of plot development, Sangwoo is getting more unwell, and Bum is getting more confused and vocal.
It's probably been only about a week since Sangwoo still has the scratches from the face.

This makes sense, I can see the timeline of it being Bum & Sangwoo get taken to the police station, Sangwoo gets attacked and they get let out without any charges. Sangwoo and Bum are a bit deflated, and Sangwoo at this stage is like "fuck it" we're going on a trip, they spend a day at the theme park. Then they currently have spent maybe two days at the ski resort. In this time it is show that the sacked police officer has started to drink heavily too, and is obsessing about Bum & Sangwoo. In the week? since the police station, Sangwoo's own mental health has taken a turn for the worst and he is becoming delusional about his mum. What's interesting is during this trip we see both characters look out for each other, when Bum gets lost Sangwoo doesn't just leave him, they both have this worried look on their faces, they are reliant on each other, but it also clearly shows how both characters, due to their poor mental health, are unable to actually help each other in a productive manner. Sangwoo is still a cheeky prick at times, granted, but this seems more of a defense mechanism, like when he wanted to be alone, a person with better awareness and strength would understand to not take such jibes to heart, and to try and understand the undelying issue, but Bum doesn't have such abilities, so uses what he thinks will try and calm Sangwoo down or comfort him, despite it being extremely inappropriate (Sangwoo freaking out about his mum, who he has also projected onto Bum at times). I guess at this stage, if either character is separated from each other, they will be completely lost. Sangwoo and Bum may even commit suicide....
* Also Sangwoo has spent quite a lot of money in such a short period of time, considering this trip was done on impulse. Sangwoo has spent maybe at least £1k within 3 days, considering he is meant to still be a student, and now has been financially supporting Bum too, it's maybe adding to the "fuck it" mindset.
*gags* sangwoo's mom's death scene is one that's being really anticipated now. Really tempting my inner sadist.
