If you're feeling "homophobic" because of the rape scene, that's silly. 1) Sangwoo isn't homosexual, he's bisexual or maybe even hetero? Honestly, he is aroused because of the adrenaline and because he gets excited by harming others, not because Bum is cute. 2) Rapists are the worst, but sexual orientation doesn't have anything to do with being into rape. 3) Bum's inability to defend himself has to do with his multiple traumas, he's mentally unstable and it doesn't have anything to do with his sexual orientation.
Sexual orientation is something that is not a constant - aka it can change anytime. I think Sangwoo can either be bisexual or gay- he mght have realized he was one after meeting Bum. I think that the op made a joke, it's not to be taken too seriously.
