I don’t think the emperor is interested in Yunifer. I think Ishid is just worried that once they start talking about the crystal, Yunifer will speak up and become more involved in the matter of the crystal and Ishid is afraid of that.

The emperor isn't interested in her ... yet. Ishid wants her to avoid attracting the emperor's interest at all costs and is taking precautionary measures so she can avoid attracting his interest. Since, you know, once she attracts his interest there is not much they can do about it since he's the emperor.
Now, why does he want to prevent this? We don't know for sure. But we do know that the emperor is interested Ishid so I'm guessing he knows from experience and wants to save her from the same fate.
He isn't. My guess is that he is interested in Ishid's powers amd is using him or putting him in a leash. That was the reason he was adopted in the first place. So if he discovers Ishid has a weakness he will use it to foce Ishid into things even more.
I hope it doesn't become a love triangle between Yoonkang and Ethan!!! I love how Ethan is so clingy and protective of Kang..... Please don't change that
