The guy the mc likes seems nice but honestly saying "it's the best we don't see each other anymore" after a proposal is really a shitty thing to do, especially if that person loves you a lot. There's nothing wrong with saying no but there are better ways, he clearly has some personal issues but that's not a justification, sometimes when you're not ready jet but you still love your partner the best thing you can do is discuss it, not saying "It's better if we don't meet anymore" or "I want to stay as friends" , YOU JUST TOLD HIM THAT YOU LOVE HIM, WHAT'S WITH THIS "FRIENDS" SHIT
And after all that, the seme continues to say things like "that's what I love about you" or touch him affectionately. Doing that to someone you clearly rejected is downright cold.
