Do I like this story? Yes. I do. However, I'm still angry that someone was gang raped and no one did anything. I get that bullying is handled differently in other countries, but are students so desensitized that they dont care if a classmate is raped? The video is easy to obtain and no one took it to the police. Rape is an actual crime that you can do time in prison for.

The rapists get to live freely nothing bad happens to them. The one that orchestrated the rape got to have fun until the end. The twin didn't pay at all. The story hinted that he was maybe raped, but it was a guy that he had a sick fascination with.
It just didn't feel like a satisfying ending. Someone was raped and died and everyone is free to enjoy life. Not sure what the author was thinking. She focused too much on the main characters that she didn't honor the boy that died.

This is my view on all the comments I have seen and I have made. I don’t see any comments excusing or explaining away rape but I see it People (myself included explaining what could the reason for Showa’s behavior not explaining it away especially rape. I see Showa actually loves Miha, not because he raped him. I never said that nor anybody else. In the real world. Spouses do rape their spouses they do love each other but rape does not define their love or that they love each other.

They are erasing reality to read and to comment. I think the problem lies with not seeing these “teen comments explaining away or excusing rape and showing compassion for a a fake criminal” meaning not real, just a character, as just comments from when they erased reality, they are not supporting real rape.
