I can see the reason why readers cry over it tho. Is very valid expecially when this sort of practice is just terrible for webcomics everywhere... As you say the first one wasnt perfect, but its kinda unique in its on minimalist type of way. But the new on is deff more jarring lol. It look way less natural, blocky and somehow sucked out all the life out of the series. Like fr the eyes look way more dead and lifeless compared to the first one. Sadly Dear Benjamin is not the only series that receives this sort of treatment. If the series had good or just an average previous artist then suddenly change to an obviously cheaper , faster one you cant be surprised that a lot of people are not happy with this type of practice...atleast if its like "When the 2nd lead goes on strike" series where they had a subpar previous artist and the new artist took the series to WHOLE NEW LEVEL then yeah, everyone would be happy. Cause from just an okay art it became better...whereas DB started from and okay art , became Worse.
I'm sorry for getting defensive but DO YOU EVEN HAVE EYES!? The art style dropped to hell (also the story line), they took an Alfredo pasta plate and replaced for a plate of expired tuna and you expect me not to be whining, I REFUSE.
Yes I DO have eyes excuse you very much. I didn't say that art style was AMAZING. I said it wasn't that bad. And the previous art style wasn't the most gorgeous master piece out of ALL webtoons. I don't think people who are illegally reading pirated content get to whine about it.
