I have had a dog attack me...And hump me...Dogs are disgusting.

Some are absolutely. My sister used to raise rottweilers and they left a lot and I spent months having to housesit and feed the bastards. They were all so naughty and big. I got hurt a few times by escapees who'd go through me for freedom.

One was nice though and would tuck me in at night, the only one in the house. She'd put me to bed, lay with me, and then go get in her bed. But most of them were kinda awful.

Actually, she reacted as innappropriately as MG did. Think about it. He told her all that was wrong about her boyfriend and how he was too old, too this, too that. So, he was telling her she had no right to be with that guy.

Now, she's doing the same. Reacting badly to the revelation of who the boyfriend is.

They both done wrong. He yelled and now she's overreacting.

I kinda think it will be fine. She will calm down.

Not everyone thinks gay is okay. And really, if we're gonna be tolerant, we gotta be tolerant of people who think gay is wrong. HOWEVER, it's wrong to make people feel like shit for it. She could have said "Oh, yeah, can I have a day or two to digest that? You're my brother and I love you, but this was really unexpected. Let me call you tomorrow night, okay?"

I was starting to think that she was a really nice character too, must have gotten that crappy attitude from her parents. I know that you can love who you want but, she is in MIDDLE SCHOOL. That is super young. She should not be dating at all, I am 11 myself(I am in middle school) and I will only ever get a boyfriend when I am 19+ and I am getting a phone when I am 14 or older.

He reacted as an older brother should but he did not say that he wouldn't support her relationship with ANYONE. It is just that he knew that her boyfriend did something unforgivable. She didn't meet his boyfriend so she had no reason to act so out of line. Her brother just wants her to be happy and with someone who will devote themselves to her and only her. Lesson of this comment: He is one hell of a brother, and she is a sister of hell.

I dont think he acted as innapropiate as MJ he was just concerned for his sister because she is dating a much older guy and the reason he tells her about the kissing event was not to break them up but to tell her about her boyfriend cheating on her I know to us it may not had seem like cheating but to him it probably was because he is really sensitive about that stuff. And I did not see him calling her relationship disgusting or forcibly trying to break them up whereas she stormed without uttering a word. Her reaction was definitely more innapropiate.
But I agree she doesn't seem like a hateful person so im sure she'll calm down and eventually accept her brothers choice.

Also I understand that not everyone is tolerant of gays but there is something called morals. If you had good morals you would not see your brother any differently because of his sexuality you know why? Because he is family. She was just plain rude and that's why she is getting hate. Also getting some hate because she was always trying to get close to her brother and we thought she would always have his back unlike the rest of her family and she was so quick to turn her back on him because of this like c'mon girl don't play us like that we thought you were suppose to be the tolerant one. Nah but yeah im hoping this will get resolved in the next chapter.

MG probably thought that her boyfriend was cheating on her just like the blond guy (forgot his name) cheated on him AND his girlfriend so, understandably, MG would be concerned about his sister. Or did you just forget all about that arc?

No, but the matter was explained to him by his boyfriend. And it's ridiculous but believable. His objection to the boyfriend's age is irrelevant, then. If it's about the kissing, then just bring that up and break up with your own boyfriend. If he wants his sister to break up due to the kissing, then he should break up due to the kissing, or it's hypocrisy.

No the objection of the boyfriend's age is not irrevelant it's the reason he went to see her. But due to his own insecurities and anger he brought up the kissing thing even after his boyfriend explained to him the situation he still seemed hurt and he still took it like cheating and maybe he is hypocritical for staying with his own boyfriend but maybe that's because he feels lonely you have to understand that he is a very complex individual. But I still do not think he said it to break them up he was just concerned for her. But everybody interprets it differently for all I know the author could have meant for that scene to mean something completely different IDK. I just like debating that's all.

We are all complex. :) And we can be hypocrites. If he's citing the kissing as a reason for her to break up, then it's a reason for HIM to break up.

And he's suffered, been abused, has been terribly lonely and terribly deceived. I know he doesn't want his sister to be hurt, but again, he should know that people don't just listen to what otehrs say. He didn't trust what his own boyfriend said, case in point. You have to see it, experience it.

But yes, I love MG. I hurt for his past suffering. But he IS being a hypocrite, and that's okay. WE can all do that sometimes.

Both him and his sister did something wrong in rushing in /rushing out without properly talking through (and thinking through) the situation. And havent' we all done that?
