It seems Sangwoo is intending to make Bum to enjoy killing like him. Because when he said we'll be together forever and somehow this plan would achive that goal. If you think about it if Bum became a killer just like Sangwoo wanted then theres two things that could happen. One is that Bum is willing to die together with Sangwoo if they were about to be caught. Two, Bum would be willing to run away with Sangwoo and continue with the killings bc Bum likes to kill now (maybe). If Bum doesn't like to murder, he would be bothered of Sangwoo kill people which Sangwoo made a hobby of and Bum would be glad if Sangwoo got caught or Bum was able to run away. Although this is just a theory and I'm just looking at Sangwoo perspective. Sangwoo won't release Bum now that he has attachement to him so maybe he thinks by doing this would tie Bum to him somehow.
My opinion in a way corresponds with your idea. However, this entirely circulates the occurrences in chapter 19. So if you haven't read it yet, then it's best to not read the rest of my response.
Sangwoo has introduced killings to Bum, yes. But with different intentions, in my opinion. If you read chapter 19, at the end, when Bum had done the 'deed', he tells Bum: “..you’ve always been the victim and got hurt and had to suffer…”, “…at some point you needed to let out all that pent-up anger inside of you…”, “…you must have been tired of pretending to be so innocent…”, “…you really suffered..”
Killing may have been Sangwoo's way to release all those pent up emotions. He's been by himself for a long time, perhaps he's seeking companionship in Bum? He's sharing his method of coping (?) with Bum. Because Sangwoo might have found it effective when it was he who was the victim (abuse from father), when it was he who was hurting, when it he who was suffering.
So, I don't think Sangwoo introduced this coping mechanism (? can we even call it that? lol) not because he intends to make Bum a killing machine. But maybe because he wants to share that feeling of 'release' with Bum.

I was thinking this too! I think Sangwoo has grown attatched to Bum and is now trying to make Bum kill like him so to keep them together. Almost like a creepy marrige/bonding ritual, if Bum becomes a killer like him then he is more likely to stay, live and join with Sangwoo. But I'm hoping Bum keeps a somewhat sane mind (even after going through this) and be able to free himself. But I guess we don't know what the outcome will be.
What's unfortunate is, now matter how you look at it, Bum's not gonna have a sane mind after all this, even if he does separate from Sangwoo. I honestly think that no amount of therapy could fix him, he was mentally ill from the start. Also, take note that Bum's living conditions in his past wasn't the best, he is poor, I doubt he would have the enough money for therapy bills or medication. I haven't even mentioned that he probably gets raped by his uncle occasionally (if not regularly). If he does escape from Sangwoo, (which i strongly doubt), chances are, Bum will be getting back to THAT life style.
Yeah, Bum's future is looking really bleak. I doubt he can escape either, but I'm a hopeful person... But I don't know what good that does. I can defiantly say Bum will not have a very happy life, it wasn't at the start and he seems to be going further down. If... And I mean a big IF, Bum's life goes better, then that would be a miracle and a sure surprise.
Though I shock myself that I actually enjoy this, it's a pretty morbid story. But the characters and the devolping plot... Plus how the characters react and the situations they go through are just so interesting, and it makes me sit at the edge of my seat waiting for whats next! But I usually like happy endings, so I wonder how this will go... Because it doesn't exactly look like a happy story.
