Seno was in high school with Natsuki and Hakushima when he fell in love with Natsuki, but Natsuki didn't even know that Seno existed. A big contribution to that was that Natsuki was in love with Hakushima and he didn't pay attention to anything else. When they graduate some years pass (don't know exact number) and Natsuki meets Seno in a gay bar (not knowing that Zeno went to Tokyo for him), they start having sex frequently but they aren't friends.
When Hakushima and Seno go to the hospital Seno wakes up and pretends to be Hakushima to be with Natsuki. Natsuki believes him and starts to "fall more in love" with Hakusima especially when Hakusima says he loves him. The real Hakusima wakes up and Seno is found out so he leaves, and Natsuki realizes he doesn't know anything, they lose contact and Natsukk tries to find him. Natsuki finds out that Hakushima had an unrequited love with his sister in law so he let's go of Hakushima. Then he realized that he always wanted Seno to be Hakushima, he finds the diary that Seno keeps and realizes that not everything was a desertion. He find Seno and they get together.
