Yeah I just commented below asking for spoilers but then went and read the chapter so here we go.

Frau Sneke fell in love with a maid. His family opposed his marriage for multiple reasons mainly their difference in status. His family makes him choose between them and ends up disowning him. The maid dies of childbirth because Duke Sneke did not allow anyone to associate themselves with Frau and the maid. Frau returns to family and has in laws take care of son so that he can regain his nobleman status. Frau finds out about Paulina being infertile and wants to use the chance to make his son a nobleman.
At this point Paulina is genuinely in love with Frau and they're getting ready to marry. The knights and Lucious find out from the brother (Deke) about this and contemplate how to punish Frau and tell Paulina the truth. Lucious makes rumors that there was a scuffle on Duke Snekes land and some villagers were hurt to make Frau visit his son. Lucious the asks Paul to go on vacation with him and they go visit (you guessed it) where Frau is.
Paul finds Frau promising to make his son a nobleman. She is angry since she has suffered so much to gain her status and name (Winter). She confronts Frau and forces him to cut his dick off. She takes over as lord of the land and the Sneke family is punished. She knows the child is innocent so he's spared but threatens to kill him if she sees him to his dad. She is very upset and humiliated (especially cause it's in front of the emperor) and well you know what happens next

Wait how was the doctor bad again? The spoilers were that she married someone horrible and then had a one night stand with the emperor but the new info reveal in Frau Sneke just makes him seem nicer? I mean he tried to marry a maid and his family was against it just making him a tragic character.
What did he kill her?? He killed the maid or his family did? If it's his family then he just has more sad boy past. He just seems humble, honest and super dumb to me; not necessarily bad qualities. Will he cheat on Paulina? They could be pushing a true love plot line for him and he's not in love with Paul for sure. Can't imagine how his turn to bad would look like

he had a son with a maid (his family was opposed, and so disowned him)but his mother died. He tries to marry Paulina to make his son a noble. But his brother told Paulina the truth. She was overly upset since she was in love with him and she struggled so much to gain the title and the guy planned to make his son a noble. By doing absolutely nothing.

Aaah I like that he starts forgetting the original timeline and also that his head hurts thinking about it. Makes things more unpredictable and there are consequences to changing the past.
I hope it's kept as an important part of the story and not just a random reason for him to faint for drama a time or two. Like as he changes the past he also slowly erases his original self that traveled back there in the first place.
The author pulling a freudian excuse kinda makes me hate him more sorry. He definitely has a traumatic past;what he's doing isn't normal but I don't think anything will make me pity him considering what's he's done.
Since he's done some very horrible things expect the author to give him the worst traumatic past possible
