People here will throw stones at me for saying this but haesoo is one of the most bland and unlikeable mc I have ever read and he and taku are the most toxic characters in this story they deserve each other

He stayed loyal and and is always prioritise haesoo. Pretending to be chill, shouldering all the blame and responsibility. joowon is so annoying, boy just run away and love yourself you deserve better

For the pips who have actually read the manhwa up until the latest raw do you think what haesoo felt for joowon is love? or is it guilt because of his bad thoughts on jw brought on by his inferiority complex despite jw being supportive of his dream and even taking the full blame and responsibility of the problem?
i think its a mix of both.
we cant deny that at some point he did love his hyung (ie puppy love kyukyu) and not he's still holding onto those feelings cause of either habit or simply refusal of closure. they didn't end things properly in the first season so we can guess that the whole time he was with taku, his emotions were a wreck. they didn't talk it out so what more could we expect?
so we can expect basically there was mostly hostility in his thoughts. "why did he do that? why did i stay with him for so long? why did i let myself be wrapped around his finger? why didn't i just cut him off from my life?" haesoo allowed himself to rampage his head with joowon but definitely not in a good way (and especially not when you're kind of dating someone else)
but then he sees articles about the scandal - the one he was very much involved with. thats when it hit him. joowon may not have been the best person in his life but he most definitely was one of the most valuable. because despite his conflicting actions and attitude, joowon was the only person who did nothing but support him - something even his own mother could never do.
so yeah, maybe he did feel guilty cause the scandal was basically about him in the first place. but that guilt mixed with love because joowon was willing to throw his career if it meant keeping haesoo safe.
