If she’s known him since he was a child then later goes on to date him when she legally can that would be grooming, it’s just not okay
But like I don't think that the FL even likes him romantically at this point in the story, she doesn't even act inappropriately or something something...for me, simply having known someone as a minor and later dating them doesn’t make something grooming...or im I wrong
