Why r ppl liking the ml?
He absolutely had no plans of letting mc leave a better life even though he knows mc has been held captive/ alone all his life. Even witnessing the fact that he didn't try to run away at hospital as all his other attempts before were in vain. He even planned to sell mc to his own father until he started developing some sorta feeling for him.

Saying that mc used violence and with the force he hit ml he would have killed him. So in ch 19 u can see ml boxing he was perfectly capable of defending himself. And in a fight u lose focus u lose life.
Also if mc was not gangster but a frail little omega ml would be emotionally abusing him like in other stories.
fr. mc is aggressive but ml isnt a green flag either. If it was still the og and not mc, ml wouldve played him and thrown him away right after. they both have issues lol
Ml has always treated mc as a thing, before he was taken to the mansion.
He literally bought mc so he could sell him to his father. If love plot didn't happen ml would totally be going along with the plan. Given the fact mc was locked up since 8 y.o. he wouldn't have much general knowledge of what's good and bad. Being around thugs and all.
Besides even after the butler let know that he threw mc under the bus so he could save ml revealing that mc predicament of being locked up and his whole fckng life is that way coz of ml, I dont see ml treating him better than he should.

Yes ml father is the root cause bcoz he a psychotic bitch and ml had to deal with abusive father but ml mother is equally to blame to reproduce with such a sleaze. And atleast ml had his mother and butter looking out for him. He was also in position to rise higher and earn enough to buy mc from before father. But what about mc? All his attempts to escape were in vain. So much so he has trauma response. Mc needs to be protected.
I'm not saying ml had it better but he should have treated mc better then he does.

This is the best adaptation I have ever read. I could feel the novel through this work. Soo good. The artist did an amazing job. It was so worth it to read it all in one sitting. I already liked their precious work.
