Loll it is confusing but the plot in manhwa hasn't explained it yet so i get why youre confuse. Also readng the novel spoilers actually made me understand the plot more tbh. Knowing that "Iheon" his best friend from his "real" world is actually the guy he is with currently in the "fictional" world makes ch 27 sad because u can see in his eyes that he wants uke to actually know that it IS him his actual best friend, but he does not want him to remember that all the bad stuff REALLY did happen to uke and nit really fiction.
Basically uke's "real" world is fake. The "fcitional" world is real. So technically the stiry now is their 3rd life.
1st being = uke being sold and being raped and mistreated by seme and them dying. (Alpha and omega)
2nd = uke living his ideal life where everything is peaceful and the seme also was "reincarnated" or "transported" to the ideal world of uke. Here they were best friends because seme regrets everything he did to uke in their previous lives. (Normal)
3rd= uke trasports back to real world so does seme (alpha and omega world) but uke thinks that the real world was his ideal world.

If I’m going off of this, they are living their 3rd reincarnation meaning that he(uke)died in the second life? This story is so wholesome. I got use to reading toxic stories that when Ash was introduced the first thing I thought of that he was going to fuck over Lyle. He looked way too nice and I couldn’t imagine that Ash was a good person and I’m so glad I was wrong. I even cried when Lyle left Ash because of lack of communication. I’m so glad this story is a breath of fresh air compared to other stories out there and I’m glad it remained AlphaxAlpha instead of the usual switch up of Alpha who turns Omega after being exposed to pheromones.
Honestly I’m not entirely sure if this is a BL however the plot makes up for my expectations. I don’t know who the ML is since everyone who interacts with the MC loves him I mean who wouldn’t he’s mesmerizing in his OG body and new body. Even if there isn’t any romantic scenes I really love the interaction he has with his group. You can feel the love and that’s enough. Reading toxic BL stories to something a little more softer is amazing. (=・ω・=)
