First it felt like a combo of 3 different series then it took a sharp turn down Solo Leveling alley... followed by a quick jump on the roller coaster with how fast it moved not giving you the ample amount of time to care before it nose dives into parts similar to Raid... Jebus this had potential but the moment it moved so fast with his emotion switch was all over and not what you'd expect for someone who just watched the entire party he was with and his only two friends by murdered by a hidden boss in front of him...
Honestly a few weeks ain't gonna cut it for his emotions to just snap to killing intent from a second of numb. It just looked like the author just wanted to start the action while ignoring the basic parts of story building... It really tilts me when I see things just go up in flames at the start. I had to not only push through but had to tell myself not to stop to see if it gets better -_-
Maybe it might, but I'll have to sit this one down a while. The damn plot just bounces with a ton of detail slammed in too fast without any rhyme or reason behind it. Take that dungeon system, it just increased the difficulty of the dungeon without cause and the fact more than one person can be in the dungeon in a different pocket realm from the looks of it but that wasn't explained. This series has all the shit tossed at you but didn't bother to give you the information you need to actually understand this world. Last time I checked real world dungeons don't operate like video game dungeons so not sure how they work like that here. I'm sure you've just caught on how you missed that detail.
Then there's another detail the "awakening stones" no explanation other that you use them, great so how? What for? Hell maybe toss us a bone and explain the shit that happened when he killed the first hidden boss! Honestly this mess has to be such a hot mess of misinformation all over the place. Because how the hell did he get out of the dungeon? Was it one of those "after a time limit" you're forced out? Then they could have avoided the hidden boss by keeping away till the time limit was over. Or how about questioning the simple one that might be on our minds. How did the conversation go that he had to explain that a hidden boss squad wiped his party and he was the sole survivor; a healer who managed to slay the hidden boss? See there is so much there that leaves you wondering at least in other series they do give you the details and explain what happens.
If a party doesn't report in then the officials go to the dungeon to find out what happened and why. Did a party do that? Or wait is the dungeon realm locked by parties? See there is some confusion here that makes it hard to comprehend.
;-; Is it just me or did the art get worse? Like it's rougher and as though less care went into the drawing of it? They went to town with the blur and burn tool in chapter 15 to the point it hurts to look at the characters ._.
And his personality only gets worse... I just can't... This might end up being a lost cause with no help for the characters...
Then there are so many parts that the art really looks like someone new to art programs colored it in some frames ._. Where did it go from chapter one to this? They fire the artist?
Can I point out that the cousin was driving without looking at the road the entire time he was talking to his dad and uncle in the car? You could see on the GPS the road and previously he was driving and all of a sudden screw watching the road ._. I'm sure they couldn't afford a smart car that could drive them...
I'm not sure how I could sit through all that... The plot is all over the place... Warning there are spoilers below if you haven't read, but who cares if you read beyond this you'll probably go "WTF?!" and then not want to read it as well...
So it starts with a forced wedding going into jealous women who would really not ever marry the "Devil Duke" which first didn't make sense in the timing or placement, but one of the women told everyone she couldn't marry the Duke because she was pregnant with someone's kid in order to avoid the marriage she was suppose to have with the duke... Cliche? ._.
So our MC apparently knows some martial arts, but her family has no idea. She manages to muck up a few times and the last one was her burning the kitchen because an apple pie baking made the oven explode... Come on the oven exploding? What kind of... no, no I must contain my rage...
It then leads to the MC being taken into the palace to be "judged" by the king... Then forced to work within the palace walls for the Queen for months... She tries to run away more than once and when she does succeed the second time she walks right into the enemy camp at the border -_- cliche enough already, but it gets worse because during all this bs from the palace to here she's got this twisted idea that everyone likes her... facepalm?
Anyways she's caught in the enemy camp and they don't believe she is who she said she was and they just let her go no questions asked which would be convenient if the MC wasn't a walking target board this whole time and miraculously walks right into the middle of the battlefield... Some how fucks the rescue plan like magic and ends up the hostage of the enemy camp because oh boy they believe she is who she said she was now... During the negotiations on getting her released wouldn't you know it another cliche toss into the plot that made no damn sense our MC is apparently now a "Holy Maiden" or so our magically appearing Pope says who freaking popped up out of nowhere at the most convenient time in the world...
By the way, the King still hates her guts and still wants her dead all the more when he finds out the woman that is married to his brother is only getting closer to his brother... Such a scary brother complex he has there. I've got a raging migraine from just these 64 chapters... How the hell does something that doesn't make that much sense infuriate me I mean it's got some stupid funny parts and yet it still headache worthy....
I honestly am dropping this. One of the few manhwas I have ever dropped.
Like you said the plot is all over the place, the characters are boring, and all of these supposed "plot twists" are making the overall story even worse, definitely not a fan of the art.
Also, I can't believe how being so furiously frustrated at a story can give me such a bad headache, like istg worse migraine since 2015
Do love the one thumbs down, but it's true D: I've read some really bad starts to some series but after the author gets the act together it gets better, but there is no hope for this with how scattered the story is. It has all the key parts just not the right coordination or flow to make it a good story as it seemed the author is trying to force so many types together in this one story board.
I feel even worse for condemning it, but everyone can see it's a failure not just because of the translations, but the overall ugh I can't even English this word much less this sentence when it comes to this series anymore.
Some things in this series are just unreasonable... Our MC is having issues with this family? Fine we'll all ostracize that family to help our MC defeat them no questions asked! ._. I mean the plot is uh... well when it's on point it's good but throw in the random splatters and you blur the line a bit... I just yeah facepalmed this chapter....

Talk about a feels trip!
Now I just question which two they were talking about that will show up less? I know the [spoiler listed at the end] "blank" can't be one because he's the ML. So I'm thinking it might be the knight or even the elder brother, but I'm not sure...

So that [Spoiler] was the Crown Prince. Lols
They're talking about the brothers because we saw more of them this season than the other 3.
That is true.
