So where's 9.2? We just go from part of 9 straight to chapter 10?!

Him busting out that ring to propose a second time and then on top of that the runaway umbrella! His face was just chef's kiss! Followed with the largest misunderstanding since he forgot his friends called him "master" for the sushi!!

Legit, table flip! Dragon Tea Ink can just fack off with their chapters... They ended up chopping chapters up into extend them or just plain remove sections! D8< Then you get to 23 only to realize yer missing 4 damn chapters.... cause they did half of the real 19 in chapter 21 and 22... barg... Glad I was reading it elsewhere at the same time to see what was missing... Makes me want to just put the correct chapters up T-T

It has a novel and a drama... this looked interesting, now to watch the drama *w*

First off, the name is supposed to be Deatrice, not Deadrace... Now that I got that off my chest, on to the next thing...

So first, the reason behind the MC blowing off the ML 6 years prior is because of her father. We learn later that her father had hired the woman who claimed to be the ML's mother as an actress. ML isn't an illegitimate son, he was framed by the MC's dad because he didn't want her to marry the ML. When she does learn this, she plans to have the subordinates to reveal this after she leaves. Oh yeah, the ML's plan, he wanted to annual the marriage with MC because he planned to expose her father and reveal his true lineage [which he was in fact the count's nephew as he had said before and raised like a son, his mother married the count], but that ends up being put on hold.

He gets sent by the emperor to do some relief work, which happened to be in the same area MC runs off to in disguise. She's working there, and he knew, but he played with her knowing who she was. Btw he did find out why she abandoned him from the servants when she left which is why his plans were on hold. She didn't want her to be the reason he didn't get his revenge on her father.

After some teasing and whatnot in the town, they get back together and return to reveal the truth. ML wages war on the MC's father, who is shamed by everyone. Things go down and the Duke in a plea for his life proposes a deal to make the ML his next heir.

It's just a mess of a series... I can see why people don't find the FL or ML likeable -_-

Oh big surprise, the previous fiancé, Fredrick, he's still alive and returns at some point. Wasn't clear in the spoilers.

Cyberscans can just shooo, they clearly aren't using the right translations... Looks like they were using novel translations in some chapters...

Is that the smell of drama trouble? Why they gotta throw hints of a new character at the end like that... we know it's gonna get bumpy as fack.

This had so much potential, but it got rushed to end. You could tell between the end of 12 where they left the dungeon then all of a sudden he was revived and being fucked in the last 3 chapters somehow back in the dungeon.

Real shame... Well, may the author not be saddened by the company's quick throw together to try and end the series >: We could see that it wasn't supposed to go that way in from 13-15.

I would have loved to comment this to the comment below this, but no... they have it set so I couldn't so here we go....

For irritation #1 I think it's because he's seen so much growing up from when he lost his parents, in the shelter, when the shelter was attacked making him a sole survivor again, to his work in the academy. He grew up knowing the world, so understanding how people think, act, and predicting is something that came second nature. We've seen a few times he'd had a few things he didn't think of pointed out from a third party stance, which he would take into consideration.

For irritation #2 I believe it's because of all the corruption he saw while growing up. Hunter could have saved him in both scenarios, but not only were they late, but also, as we saw in the second scenario with the shelter, he was being forced to smile for the press after he just survived his second encounter with murder. The first one I'm not sure how long it took, but we know seeing both parents be brutally killed in front of you is going to leave some lasting damage, especially the part where his mother died holding him close to protect him.

If you also take in the info that was dropped, they put the children to work in the shelters, barely paying them if at all for their work. They did not care about life other than their own. Being around so much negativity can make your care about others who have no connection to you rather easily shut off. I can actually understand his side of things. He wants to see the world change, but as long as corruption is still there, then any method you attempt to change the world will come undone by the greed of others. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Another saying would be you could feed a man, or you can teach the man to fish.

Just because he wants change doesn't mean he can make it happen on his own. He'd need others to make the stand as well for the betterment of the entire population. Which, if we think back to the chapter with the 3-headed bird, it was hinting at him to do such. We can see he's making waves, albeit they are small waves at the moment.

But I did want to point out that the daughter did already accept him as her future dad! x3

Now that I said that, I want to toss in my comments. This looks very promising as I can see the characters are growing and changing as we see. MC is slowly opening up, albeit slowly.
