That smiling bitch statue is called the 'Architect.' He's the administrator for the system setup and they search for bodies that can obtain the power of the Shadow Monarch :))

I wanted to give some spoiler but as a teaser (〜￣△￣)〜.... I went to read the light novel as i just couldn't wait for the translations, i think that was after the fight he had in the dungeon with the assassin.

the fact that the Shadow Monarch passed his power to the ML was totally unexpected. I really want to see the scene after the full awakening, where all the shadow armies kneel in front of the ML. Also the appearance of the heaven armies when the plead their allegiance to ML as an apology for betraying the Shadow Monarch in the past.

Also the fighting during the Japan Gate will be awesome. Lots of information will be given as well as some explanation of why this reality has occured!! Cant wait (≧∀≦).
