(yes that's toxic asf), but if Korean idols break the 'promise' its natural that they get fired, and that's how its so normalized to hate there (in Korea / also Asia) I am definitely against that rule but who are we to talk? so they were like, 'no rights for you hehe', we are only fans, the company can snip their fingers and our favorite idols could get disbanded. and its not really Kpop fans, its more (a lot of) Korean stans (who live in South Korea) that have rubbed off the normalizations to the international fans (on whatever social platform), but I have noticed that nowadays its definitely getting less (internationally), but still there are some stans that do this.
+if toxic fandoms is the reason not listen to Kpop that's kinda highkey dumb, cause what can thy do to you then just send a couple of hateful comment and after a week they'll be gone anyways.
