theres a lot of BL's where the creator makes the uke alot more smaller than the seme for "distinction" purposes between the two, the only difference is that they act maturely and tries to really get out of that shell, but idk man i think they took it too far with this one. i saw a couple of panels and skimmed through the comments from here for more context, and I just want to say, that ending is BOGUS. With all due respect to Isayama, he made an amazing franchise and he deserves the rest and relaxation he very much deserves, but the most craziest theories being made would've done the ending much more justice, a much more of that feeling that says hey, this is actually going to end but at least it gave us a good farewell. I would say Mikasa has played such a HUGE role, especially from the beginning of the Rumbling and it was suspected it'd be her that would end all of this, but I never really felt some kind of connection with her. She always felt so distant even when she tried breaking out of that shell numerous times throughout the anime/manga.

What I'm disappointed most about the ending is how anti-climactic it felt. I would've loved to see if the "Time Loop Theory" would've come into play, especially how Isayama's biggest strength in making this franchise is mystery and the kind that leaves you with an eerie feeling. In my opinion, I think the Rumbling would play a huge part for the future generations to come. That event might be the second closest to the Titan War that happened hundreds of years ago, but what makes it 100x worse is that Paradis will still be seen as the devils. The Rumbling stopped, and that's good, but what about the people who WEREN'T affected by it. May I remind you, this happened across the entire WORLD. These nations will have some kind of bad blood with Paradis.

This ending didn't give me the closure I would have hoped for, with Eren dying, half the world in shambles, Paradis will surely go extinct if they don't figure shit out, and most of all, what will happen to Historia's baby?

wait wait wait idk if theres a novel to this but can someone PLEASE comfirm (if there is a novel) that Joaquim and Navaeh stays together and this story doesnt pull a "true love always prevails in the end" making Navaeh goes back to Duke Wishtrash?
