I may hate him a little more. Jaekyung is awful but this guy literally delights in making this girl unhappy. I cannot fathom why anyone would write a story where such an innocent character ends up with someone like him. Jaekyung is mostly just a selfish asshole. He’s prioritized with himself and doesn’t think of others but I don’t think he’s actively looking for ways to make Kim Dan’s life harder. He actually helps make his life easier a teensy bit by handling the thugs for him and hospital bills.
