For anybody upset with the "later" part, I think the side stories are gonna continue until the year 2024, and it's June, 2021 rn. I'm assuming this for two reasons. 1, it's cuz in chapters 109.5 and 109.6, there's a huge timeskip to Feb, 2024, and Li Huan and Yangyang get married, so likely DJun will continue the side stories till then. Also in chapter 3, yangyang is monologs and lists a bunch of crazy stuff they go through that hasn't happened yet. Thus giving like 2.5 years for this later to come up, and possibly the second side couple to come up too. But yeah, I'm not happy with the later part either, but let's just be patient and let everything slide into place.
In chapter 3, that monologue read the last line. Many has brought up the monologue and some has mentioned the last line Makes it not going to happen. They said for that means it just you don’t need all of that to have a good story of them getting together
