Honestly I was gonna drop this but glad I didn't. I think a part of it is that they focus on the fact that she's Pretty and Rich and not only on the fact that the main character was fat. Like the MC was fat but she was also Depressed and Bullied. The fat version of the main character, when she wasn't depressed and focused on her friendships, was liked by many, even if some people didn't like her. GREAT WRITING!
