i saw a comment that said he thought the mc/uke took his foster family from it but really he was trying to save him but i’m not sure it kinda left a cliffhanger at the last chapter
Does anybody have an idea what the first part of the very first chapter could mean? I'm thinking if I should read this now or wait for this season to end.

The only way to end the fan wars would be to give an alternative ending. In a way where Jooin ends with Yahwi in one and Cain in the other ending. It would defo resolve atleast half the fan wars thats happening regarding this manhwa.
To be honest that would make things much worse. Especially since many readers don't like alternative endings, mainly due to readers preferring a "always meant to be" couple. Idk remember which series it was but there were two series one BL and Het that did that and so many readers absolutely hated it because it felt like the main couple weren't the main couple.
Forgot add that it will make each side say "see our ending is better" which will just cause another fanwar
True. But given how there's a constant argument with their favourite ships. I just think that an alternative ending would bring some kind of peace, maybe? Also your point makes a lot more sense if there's an end to one argument another one will follow soon after.

i like yahwi cause hes an interesting characte, he is complex and isnt basically like cain (not slandering) who is basically black and white.

If jjk realises that what happened to doc was someone from the opponents side (I mean that's the only plausible explanation) there's still 12 hours left for the match. A lot could happen. Chances of him beating his opponent to death is higher than him losing this match. Of course this is just what I think. We have to wait atleast two weeks more for that to be confirmed
