I think they were worried about the shackle for a couple reasons. Theyre doctors, cautious and professional worry warts so it wouldnt be surprising if they theorized a couple things. Like what wouldve happened if the shackle induced a coma? Or if the shackle kept that state of the body while it was going through the seizure, essentially turning a week into a month. What about the after effects, etc. etc. Also the fact they didnt consult the rest of the family. When all matters regarding the family are extremely important especially after what had happened to lisette. But its also so frustrating that they didnt just try like who gaf hes a goner anyways. Just truly to cautious.

For some reason I can't find the episode :/ but I think the people who make her dresses, just happened to have some fabric that they thought suited her. They knew her measurements so they just made a dress from the fabric, and were just having her try it on. I think it's just supposed to be a cute moment when she walks in and Theo is falling more and more in love with her.
