yk despite everything like this is quite good cause yeah age gap relationships are tricky and if Mr. Kang wants to be cautious about that and the effects of their power dynamic he'll need to do better cause rn he's just enforcing that. and this new guy thing is not bad i believe yiyoung IS young and we know this is fiction most probably he'll end up with daehyung, but yeah he's ought to be pissed off about his bf saying smth like that even if it comes from more of a fear of abandonment i suspect

Yes! I absolutely hate when creators use an inherited debt, bullying, or SA of the mc to give their trashy love interest a means to have a redemption arc and call that bs character development. If more creators took normal relatable situations and expanded on it we could have more incredible stories and characters.
OMG FAXX!!! no like sangwoo, jaeyoung or even any character here isn't perfect or just some strict archetype. they are each unique individual some more morally right in a societal perspective and some are more complicated than that and even then they skew from those expectations. and the whole story is exactly about those lessons and growing and nurturing this relationship between them through that process :(( like not every stroy has to be super deep or has to have some major plot twist or character change or shit. and not every stroy has to have real life reflection just those cheap things like SA, r@pe, bullying or just one dimensional shit are very redundant and honestly quite insufferable.
