I'm ready for this bdsm misunderstanding to be done

wearethemisfits July 14, 2025 12:49 pm

I desperately need there to be an epilogue

wearethemisfits July 13, 2025 11:42 pm

I was worried because of the comments but honestly I liked it! I would've liked if it was a bit longer but at least the misunderstanding was cleared up pretty quickly once they met up again. Also Jinhwan's university friendis a real one! Great advice all around!

Yeahhhh nothing romantic about threatening to sexually assault your partner

Chill, jay is just teasing him lol

This guy literally stabbed himself because he didn't get his own way and then uses it to emotionally blackmail his partner. Doesn’t sound like someone who's just teasing - and even if he was, SA isn't something you tease about. Let's stop normalizing abusive behaviour

One comment being disliked does not really "reinforce" anything.

The premise is interesting but honestly I didn't like how the story played out. It makes zero sense that Jooin would like Mookya and move to Seoul for him when they just met and Mookya threatened to kill him. Their whole relationship is absurd for a long time. It feels like there's gratuitous trauma and not one but two incestuous situations?? Not for me

Honestly both of them annoyed me for most of the story, up until they got together. And I feel like Taegyeom really minimized the impact that his anti omega stance had, plus it was glossed over pretty quickly after the confession. Idk. The last quarter or so is super cute but can't say this is one of my favs

Not sure if this accurately depicts journalism in Korea or if the author is taking creative liberties but this is definitely not how newspapers work in North America. The libel laws and the justice system in Korea are quite different though so it would make sense for media to work differently

Not sure if you have experience in this or if it's your line if work but do you mind sharing how journalism/newspaper works in US??? It def seems odd, all the lack of sleep and stuff. I would imagine this maybe been the reality back in the day but nowadays not so much.... But idk.

    wearethemisfits June 28, 2025 12:28 pm

Yeah it's my line of work, and I was an intern both in the US and Canada (where I work now) at one point. The lack of sleep is often true but usually if you're working at all hours it's for big breaking news (ie, mass shootings, natural disasters, etc) and not for a story like this. These days newsrooms have less staff than ever before and there’s big news like that all the time so people are exhausted for real. Interns do work really hard and get called in for these kinds of stories, but unlike here, interns are typically expected to report and file stories daily, not just act as glorified assistants for staff.

We also would have to do a lotttttt of due diligence and get lawyers involved before publishing a story accusing anyone of child abuse if they haven't been charged by police. Webtoons always have journalists dropping surprise articles with accusations but in North America you have to reach out to the person and give them a chance to respond before the story runs or you can be sued for libel. A lot of what they show journalists do in webtoons is just... not allowed here and not how newsrooms operate, but like I said in my original comment, I think differences in culture and laws could account for some of that

Heetae is a straight up abuser and I hate that they even tried to give him a hint of a redemption arc after what he did. Domestic violence isn't something that ends just like that and especially when there are kids involved it's best to go no contact

Realllllly didn't like this last chapter. This is literally sexual assault. Dude said a million times that he doesn't want to and then Chaejun ties him up and does it anyway?? Mc even says he's doing whatever to get it over with. That’s coercion. There were a lot of questionable moments in this webtoon already but this is way beyond that

Super cute and beautiful art. I feel like all the obstacles get resolved a little too easily and straightforwardly for it to really resonate with me but honestly a nice read.
