The miscommunication is frustrating, sure, but everyone seems to be forgetting these are college students and neither of them has been in a relationship before. The solution is obvious to us because we already know both sides but these guys are clueless relationship idiots, it's normal that they're not handling it well

Junseok has only ever been an fboy and he assumes that because he feels more deeply inside it must be obvious to others that he's sincere; Gunjoon feels inadequate and is too scared to ask for clarity. Those are pretty realistic mistakes to make especially in a first relationship -- that’s why a lot of them don't last!

Everyone's comparing to BJ Alex but honestly even though there's a similar plot line in BJ Alex it's done better in that webtoon imo. The emotional backstory is more fleshed out and Jiwon is not as bad as JK

I know it's the same author and agree there are similarities! But even at the same point in the story JK is way worse. Jiwon is mean and definitely crosses boundaries (especially in terms of where they hook up) but DG is generally into what they're doing when they're f buddies. Jiwon isn't violent either. And remember DG basically blackmails him into sleeping together the first time. Meanwhile JK coerces Dan, either literally or financially, the entire time and he's a violent & volatile person. He also non consensually has his friend walk in on them as a way of exerting power. The way I see it, Jiwon is an asshole but JK is an abuser.
Honestly this whole storyline with the kids was ... not my fav. So i'm going to pretend the entire second half of this webtoon didn't happen
omg this is so real hshajhajaha the plot of the other half of the story was just out of track
