I could actually write paragraphs for Agia and Ken's character writing alone especially in Chapter 82 where they were being "honest" with each other. This dynamic is quite similar to immortal x mortal despite them two essentially being immortals who will always reincarnate together.
Agia is the immortal one who was indoctrinated too early in the church prob for his own protection bcoz of Vercike killing each of his reincarnation, nonetheless he's much more exposed to the dark side of things thus wanting the sweet relief of death and is obsessed with fulfilling the prophecy even if he hurts Cain/Ken whom he obviously loves.
Ken grew up learning to enjoy the simple things in life and was much more emotionally taken care of surrounded by people who cared for him like Ian. He wants to stay and enjoy this life with Agia as long as they're together.
The prophecy is a senseless death like Ken says but Agia doesn't care bcoz he wants or needs to die. I know author already planned out the next seasons so I'm genuinely excited for more.
Despite this being my favorite manhwa just for the complex plot alone, I've been avoiding this season like a plague actually XD coz I knew shit was about to get down after that season finale. I actually like both MCs here. I also like my MCs broken and flawed I guess. Well time to face the demons and reread ╮(￣▽￣)╭
