I actually like this pace. It's prob better if you read it in one sitting imo. I love the direction of their relationship for now especially since they started in a contractual one, this being a 2nd life contributed to it prob. It's the first for me reading in this genre that the other characters or ML is the one who have the memories instead of MC although Sejin has the nightmares to relive the tragedy.

For now, I love that Ido is being cheeky especially with the engagement talk in the car, telling if Sejin was asking either as a fiance or as the son of Haeshin group. I love that Sejin initiates with the conversation asking why Ido is coming home late or why their engagement is still private. It's a comforting dynamic ngl but then I'm so not ready for the angst especially with the past ╥﹏╥

I think everyone's opinions are valid but you all throwing the toxic uke word so casually without also understanding. I don't think Jiho knows the full extent of Inwoo and his mother's relationship so in his naivete and wanting what he thinks is best for him, wants them to talk it out but ofc it's not that easy. I don't think Jiho would want Inwoo to meet his mother once he knows the trauma he went through.

Also I'm seeing spoilers about ppl being mad that Jiho slept in his ex fvck buddy's house but you all acting as if he came there himself. He was sitting and reflecting when Chungi offered and Jiho has no one to turn to bcoz we know his family threw him out. Nothing happened and they just talked.
