i started this when i was in high school and i'll be done with my post graduation next month. the slow burn is still going strong.
i don't mind short chapters but the translation?? i can't understand anything
and everything goes downhill from here... except for their feelings
i missed them so much and yes even after reading hundreds of mangas/manhwas "my tomorrow became you" is still the best ever confession line and i'm still not over it
the day they first met, when lu feng collected an zhe's spore... it was valentine's day
i tried to understand both the MCs and both of them were at fault in the previous chapter. not hating on the characters but you can still love them and point out their mistakes. jiho shouldn't have forced the meeting knowing well the trauma the mother cause inwoo. "inwoo never made it clear and made it seem like he wanted to meet his mother".... inwoo still suffers from his condition for a reason, it means he's still not over it. i get it that jiho did it with good intentions but he should have left mother-son relationship in their hands unless inwoo specifically asked him for help.
on the other hand, inwoo knew kissing jiho in public would hurt him and he did it intentionally. that was an ass move and him being sad doesn't excuse the action since he's supposed to love and cherish him not attack on his weakness. he should have made it clear that he wasn't ready to meet with his mother instead of going in circles.
jiho making a move in telling his family about their relationship might have ignited something in inwoo to face his fears too, just like he feels in previous chapters that he might be the only one who can't move on from his past and fears. but just because he feels the need to move on, doesn't mean he is ready too. everyone needs different time and space to get over it. in order to know each other, they should have communicated better.
but in the latest chapter, jiho going to his ex-fuck buddy's place to crash the night is very big no-no. nowhere to go... he says... but he could have crashed in a hotel or his sister's place. he might have needed someone to talk to i understand but fighting with your boyfriend while you and him are clearly hurt and then crashing at your ex's house whom your boyfriend feels insecure about is they could have talked outside in a public place and jiho could have declined chung's invitation.
still, i'm trusting jiho to not make a stupid move again.
made up my mind i'm not gonna date anyone in life but if its someone like ian or kyungbin i'm all up for it
