reading this in half awake state at 3am wasnt a good call. i hate open endings.
i'm waiting for that part where one of them gets so exhausted and passes out from lack of sleep, the other takes care of them, and the one that passed out somehow in their sleepy/unconscious state asks the other to stay and they sleep together soundly for the first time in a while.
