Liked the idea of this but I just found it quite silly how predictable the trope is “oh he hurt me so I’m gonna hurt him back and give him a taste of his own medicine!” And then who would’ve guessed????? They fall in love in the end all the same (￣∇￣")
But genres are romance and comedy, so it was kind of obvious there wasn't going to be some weird plot twist. I think what makes this better than others with similar trope is that he realises he loves him and abandons the revenge plan early on, he doesn't deny his feeling so it saves us from more drama.
That is pretty true, like a said it’s silly fitting the comedy aspect I was just stating we see this trope in a lot of works especially recently and it’s not exactly necessary to have a good romance comedy read but I can definitely see why people like it I mean I enjoy it all I was saying is the trope is used a LOT ╮(￣▽￣)╭
