I think you misunderstood. I just read the whole summary yesterday and people said, yes, he did have psychological issues, like forgetting some events but he didn't have amnesia after the cliff incident. He remembered everything
I was told he had memoryloss and thats what everyone belives
But the "plottwist" was that he actually remembers everything in the end
